User Reviews

Reviewers repeatedly praise the Cribwise crib hardware (quality and bounce) but report a consistently unstable app plagued by crashes, connectivity/video loading delays, and inaccurate sleep data. Many feel basic sleep-tracking features are locked behind a paywall, and several cite missing ecosystem features (Mac app, widgets) and a non-intuitive UI. Overall, hardware quality is strong, while software reliability is the main drawback.
Pros
  • Crib hardware quality with standout bounce and build quality.
  • Sleep monitoring features (sleep data/logs and soothing controls) provide useful insights when the app works.
  • Picture-in-Picture/minimize view lets you monitor the crib while using other apps.
Cons
  • App crashes frequently and shows overall instability.
  • Connectivity issues and slow video loading, with frequent disconnects and false 'no internet' mode.
  • Sleep data inaccuracies and detection delays (misread wake/sleep states and delayed updates).
  • Paywalls locking basic sleep-tracking features and concerns about value for money.
  • Missing Mac app and widgets/shortcuts; plus a non-intuitive UI.

Sometimes I feel like the “Ai” this crib has is very dumb. It doesn’t turn on right away when needed and the app always changes it

The app needs pairing again whenever crib is disconnected from power for a moment. Annoying. The pairing takes 30 mins of my time every time if it works at all. !

I have mixed feelings about this app. It doesn’t crash for me like others have described. Works okay most of the time but sometimes my baby is crying for several minutes and I don’t get any notifications. Just today it was maybe 5-10 minutes and I didn’t get the usual notifications. This is not the first time either. Makes me nervous when I’m doing something outside and I can’t always be checking the app. It’s not a wifi or connection issue because at the same time I was getting motion notifications from my ring cams. I’m so upset with this app and it took so long to get my poor son to calm down.
