The application is free to download and try, and includes sample lessons. It is a fully working copy of the course. The remaining content is also free to Bristol Groundschool customers, or customers of flight schools who use Bristol Groundschool’s training materials, after activation of an ATPdigital v8.0 or higher student account. The pictures are often squished and the default font size is very tiny like a software coder was involved with design aesthetics. If I increase the font to normal, some of the text superimposes with nearby text. When I contacted support to help them understand the product snuck out the door without basic design/formatting QA, they put an enormous burden on me to explain the squished pictures like they don’t want to look themselves or don’t have access to the product. On a positive note, the practice exams are good and that is where most of the student pilot learning actually happens.
