Maomi Stars is a mission-based Chinese learning game designed for kids ages 4-7. It helps learners master hundreds of Chinese characters and more than 1,500 phrases through engaging listening, writing, and speaking challenges across seven worlds. Kids create an avatar and a kitty friend, earn star coins, and unlock new worlds as they practice new words and skills.

The app supports Mandarin and Cantonese, as well as traditional and simplified Chinese, with an English interface. It offers ad-free play, progress tracking for parents, and a teacher mode to customize curricula. A free tier lets children explore the first 40 words and the first world, with paid plans for full access and multi-child accounts.
