User Reviews

A calming, cozy, slow-paced experience with soothing visuals and music that supports mental wellbeing and provides a sense of progress as you care for a little friend. Fans praise its emotional resonance and gentle gameplay, but common drawbacks include intrusive ads, time-gated progression, unclear onboarding, and frequent post-update bugs. Some note confusing sleep mechanics. Addressing ads, pacing, onboarding, and stability would help the game reach more players seeking a therapeutic, comforting companion.
Pros
  • Calming, cozy atmosphere with soothing rain sounds/music that many users find comforting and mentally supportive.
  • Slow-paced, relaxing gameplay that avoids rushing and helps with anxiety or depressive moods.
  • Beautiful art style and music that contribute to a comforting, cozy feel.
  • Meaningful sense of progress through room upgrades, journaling, and small tasks that give players something to look forward to.
  • Relatable, empathetic storytelling and a gentle focus on being with the character rather than grinding tasks.
Cons
  • Intrusive ads and monetization (watching ads for talk points, long ads, and some users unable to remove ads) which disrupt the experience.
  • Time gating and scarcity of resources like hearts/raindrops leaving long idle periods with little to do.
  • Unclear objectives or tutorials for new players, making it easy to feel lost at the start.
  • Frequent technical bugs and crashes after updates, including launch problems and startup failures.
  • Sleep/wake mechanic confusion (putting the character to sleep for hours without a clear wake option) and other in-game balance issues like inconsistent rewards.

I downloaded this today and it seemed like something that would be good for me. I explored it a bit and used up my five talks. I saw that I had to watch an ad to get five more talks. I watched two ads and a message popped up saying something like “reward granted”, but the message wasn’t clickable. I went into the game and confirmed that I didn’t get five talks. Thinking it might’ve just been a glitch, I watched two more ads and got the same message. I still didn’t get the talks. I’m not a fan of apps that require you to watch ads, but it was disappointing that the business model kept me from experiencing it fully. But, I guess that’s how life is and I guess that’s why there are apps like this about depression and hopelessness.

This is the best game for me and anyone who deals with stress or anxiety in life (and to be honest i thing everyone does and some of us just want to hide it which is okay but this game is also good for that!) This game is stress relieving and calming and kind of addictive…but in a good way. I love how calming it is but there is only one problem that I hope you can update in this game (like this specific one) where you can talk in it to your depressed friend and have conversations with them. Hope you can get the game and you enjoy it!

I have been struggling with my depression and came across this game. It’s slow progressing which makes it more real when it comes to helping and healing in real life, i enjoy this game alot. I hope the creator creates another game like this but more enhanced in details or something. Love it either way.
