Pros

Engaging, challenging and entertaining crosswords with imaginative clues that keep you coming back.
Relaxing daily play that helps keep the mind sharp and provides a satisfying puzzle experience.
A fair number of puzzles are available for free, making the app accessible even with ads.
User-friendly and straightforward interface with no gimmicky features, focusing on the crossword experience.

Cons

Intrusive and persistent ads, including pre puzzle ads and video ads that are hard to close.
Heavy monetization via a high subscription price and coin or hint system that gates progress.
Inconsistent clue quality with obscure, ill fitting or even made up words used to fit puzzles.
Limited feedback such as not being able to preview answers or readily verify mistakes, and occasional unreliable progress tracking.

I have completed several puzzles that say “In progress” and even gone back to use coins to show mistakes, and there are no mistakes but I’m out 150 coins.

Multiple pop-ups immediately after opening game. Ads instantly upon selecting the daily crossword. I downloaded the app. Opened it. And in under 5 seconds it gives me a pop up telling me to accept personalized ads. Another popup saying to buy coins, and another to buy packs/remove ads or whatevs. Then got an ad instantly after clicking the daily crossword. I bet if I continued for another 5 seconds the ad count would’ve reached the double digits. I strongly don’t recommend.
