User Reviews

HearFind can help locate a hearing aid in some cases, with proximity data and success in real-world searches. However, reliability is inconsistent: readings jump, some models aren’t detected, and usability can be poor (blank lists, access issues). Pricing is a common debate, with many questioning the value of the pro version and requesting refunds. Overall, it’s helpful in certain scenarios but not consistently dependable.
Pros
  • Proximity feedback can report location down to inches in ideal cases, helping you quickly pinpoint a lost aid.
  • Useful in real-world scenarios (yard, couch, laundry pile) by narrowing the search area.
  • One-time pro version fee is affordable for some and viewed as cheap insurance against losing devices.
  • Can search for other Bluetooth devices beyond hearing aids (e.g., Apple Watch and iPad).
Cons
  • Distance readings are often unreliable or wildly inconsistent (e.g., showing 52 feet or hundreds/thousands of feet when nearby).
  • Fails to detect certain hearing aid models (e.g., Phonak, KS10s) even at close range.
  • Usability and access issues: blank lists, inability to access the site, lack of clear instructions, and intermittent spinning/search failures.
  • Pricing/value concerns: many users feel the pro version isn’t worth it and request refunds.

My hearing add fell in my lap. I didn’t see it at first. The app did not find it.

Lost a hearing aide in my house and had to pay $20 for this app, which didn’t even work. It kept telling me I was 35% away, and when I did find my hearing aide it was buried in my sofa and the app still didn’t say it was found until it was my in my hand. I’d like my money back bc this app doesn’t work!!!!
