Everlog shines with easy Day One imports, a solid Markdown workflow, a one-time purchase model, and a polished UI plus a rich feature set. Users praise its native Apple feel, reliable cross-device basics, and ongoing improvements. However, recurring concerns include limitations on long entries, occasional crashes and no autosave, sporadic sync/data-integrity issues, media attachment bugs, and some UI quirks on iPad/macOS.

Cons

Limit on entry length: inability to write long entries; text can disappear beyond a certain point.
Stability issues: crashes, freezes, and lack of autosave in some cases.
Sync and data integrity issues: data loss or entries being overwritten; requires monitoring of sync status.
Media attachment bugs: photos/videos failing to attach or sync; editing/media upload can crash the app.
Platform/UI quirks: iPad/macOS UI glitches such as overlapping toolbars and polish gaps.

Imported almost 10 years of DayOne entries with no issues. The customizations available are great. Amazing range of import options. The lifetime purchase option supports Family Sharing! I am happy - especially happy to support an indy developer!

I’ve used a few, including Day One. This one of way to use, powerful, and priced right. If you like Day One, but are open to something else, give it a try.

I thought I’d already reviewed this app….but, I guess I haven’t. In Short - A great Journaling app. My main “critique” used to be not being able to export a PDF….but, they fixed that a while back. The app also looks great. No complaints whatsoever.
