Coptic Hymns in English

I love CHIE.

While I appreciate your efforts, however, I wish and pray you change the following asap: First, I cannot accept the new meaningless icon that replaced Christ’s icon. Its colors are not joyful at all, but rather representing darkness, depression and actually death, which are not Christ’s. The Christ icon used to make my home screen bright and beautiful, now it’s not. Second, I used to listen to multiple prayers of the hour while driving or doing anything else, now I can’t. Third, the sound level differs in the first hour, you can listen to the litanies after the gospel and the following prayers. The sound level jumps suddenly up and down. Fourth, I wasn’t able to listen to the other hours prayer due to the second point above. Fifth, I need to make it clear in our minds that Christ is our main goal, focus and the center of our lives above all things. After Christ comes anything else such as, our coptic identity, church, hymns etc. By replacing Christ’s icon by the initials of coptic hymns, which I couldn’t figure on my own but needed help, I see this as ridiculous and narrow minded point of view. How spiritually inappropriate is that? It takes your whole work way out of the main road to Christ. I pray that God may enlighten our minds and give us all broader spiritual vision to see by His own Eyes amen 🙏🏻✝️
