User Reviews

TT Algebra 1 offers strong teaching features like rewatchable videos, automatic grading, and travel-friendly offline progress, plus customization and a handy note pad. However, reliability issues (crashes, freezes, lost progress), subpar audio controls, scratchpad/input glitches, and UI frustrations frequently appear across reviews. Teaching quality and pacing also vary between lessons. Overall solid when it works, but stability and UX improvements are needed for a consistently positive experience.
Pros
  • Rewatchable video lessons with thorough explanations that help solidify concepts.
  • Automatic grading and immediate progress tracking for easy monitoring of performance.
  • Pause/resume feature and offline travel-friendly progress so you can study away from home without losing days.
  • Customization options like wallpapers/backgrounds and a note pad (S-Pen) for a paperless learning experience.
  • Helpful for homeschooling and learning on the go with structured, step-by-step instruction.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes, freezes, and even lost progress, with slow or broken loading affecting reliability.
  • Audio controls are limited or unhelpful; the sound often cannot be muted, which can be disruptive.
  • Scratchpad usability issues (delayed eraser, glitches) and input problems that hinder quick problem solving.
  • On-screen keyboard and UI elements (small buttons, glitches) make navigation and answering questions frustrating.
  • Inconsistent teaching quality and pacing across lessons, with some explanations not aligned to the practice or too hard to follow.

It isn't flawless, but it's very good. I don't think it deserves 5 stars because there are a few bugs. But besides of that, I see no problems! (No pun intended) So yeah, the questions are challenging, you can choose a background, and you can check your grades! And one thing that I really like is if we're going on vacation, I can just pause it so I don't waste any days. I highly recommend it if your looking for something consistent. 4 stars

Every time you go to watch another video the sound is always on. The quotes at the end of the lesson aren’t encouraging. Hints barely give actual hints ( the hints don’t help ). The lesson problems are always a random number, EXAMPLE: one day I have 21 problems, the other I have 25 problems. STICK TO ONE NUMBER!!!!!!
