It’s quite literally the best place for film and I’ve tried them all. I’m a longtime subscriber but the service keeps getting worse as it becomes more mainstream. It’s sad but if the developers are getting along well then it’s acceptable; it’s quite a feat.

Trakt works well for basic episode tracking, but it has several frustrating limitations. You cannot rate an entire TV season and must rate individual episodes instead. This is inconvenient for people who prefer to evaluate a season as a whole. The five-star rating interface is also less precise than a clear 1–10 scale. Public profiles are too limited: visitors who are not signed in cannot browse a user’s complete watch history, ratings, and progress. This makes Trakt unsuitable for sharing a media library or using it with recommendation services.
