However, persistent issues are Bluetooth range, the Bluetooth-only connection with no Wi‑Fi, lack of data history, limited fault details, and the need for the compressor to be on to read data. These drawbacks limit long-term usability and remote monitoring.

Recent reviews

Would be nice if you could look back at data, you can only see live data when you are a few feet away, for the price of the EasyStart, it would be nice for it to have WiFi and have it designed where it was powered continuously for historical data etc. For the actual soft start it’s self, it’s awesome HVAC companies and manufacturers should be pushing this. No dimming lights no clunk when it stars up.

Needs to be able to assign a nickname to device- currently if you change it then you lose connection. Need to be able to remove device without delete app and starting over (I have 4 units but I can’t see one) Would be nice to log data history, only shows last/current start.
