Features & Capabilities

Stream Vision 2 is a mobile companion app that expands thermal imaging, night vision, and multispectral electro-optic devices from Pulsar and Yukon by connecting them to a smartphone over Wi-Fi. It enables the phone to act as a file browser, viewfinder for real-time image streaming, and a remote control for adjusting device settings, plus a firmware update platform and cloud storage for photos and videos.

The app also delivers a Newsfeed to keep you informed on night vision technology and industry happenings. Note: Some features require a connected observation device via Wi‑Fi.

User Reviews

User reviews show a strong feature set and positive sentiment when Stream Vision 2 works, highlighting streaming, ballistic calculator, and rifle-profile management, plus an intuitive UI and solid Pulsar ecosystem integration. However, widespread reliability issues dampen the experience: repeated device-to-scope connectivity failures across models, frequent crashes after updates, and compatibility problems with newer iPhones and iOS versions. Video streaming/download reliability and viewfinder lag are common complaints, and some users report needing to disable cellular data to connect. Overall, the app is promising but unstable in many scenarios.
Pros
  • Feature-rich toolset including streaming, ballistic calculator, and rifle/profile management.
  • Intuitive user interface and easy navigation.
  • Strong integration with Pulsar devices and ecosystem.
  • Positive experiences when the app connects, with smooth streaming and responsive controls.
  • Notable improvements over some updates, with reduced lag and better connectivity in certain cases.
Cons
  • Frequent connectivity failures to various Pulsar devices (Krypton 2, Thermion, Axion, etc.).
  • App crashes or closes unexpectedly after updates or on startup.
  • Compatibility issues with newer iOS versions and certain iPhone models; unclear device support.
  • Video streaming/download issues and lag in the viewfinder.
  • Unintuitive networking behavior requiring turning off cellular data or other workarounds to connect.

App works good on my old iPhone 11 but didn’t work well on my buddies 14. Now that I have a iPhone 16 I can’t download anything, hope there is a fix that comes out soon
