Showdown - TV & Movie Tracker

Overall, this is the best app to track your movies and shows (Anime too), in my opinion. Before I found this app, I always felt that other apps that we’re good always had something that was missing or had something that made it feel like it was too much. It’s definitely a bonus that I have been able to track all the movies, shows, and anime that I’ve watched in an experience that doesn’t feel buggy or overcrowded. Showdown definitely is the perfect mix of simplicity, comfortability, and usefulness. At the times that I talked with the developer before, the responses we’re very reactive and helpful. They seemed to care about the users of Showdown having a good experience with the app.

Nicest, cleanest and most intuitive interface of the dozen plus movie and show trackers I’ve tried. - Every function and ui element is well-thought out - Easy to use / no learning curve - Can Pin shows and movies to dashboard - Useful widgets - Powerful search that saves your search history - Doesn’t rely of TrakTV to sync (so no forced limits for lists, etc.) - Unlimited lists - Recently added smart list — shows all the media you’ve recently added in one place - Archive - Uses iCloud to sync between devices (fast) - Doesn’t rely on subscription (tip jar to support development) - Just feels right all around ### Suggestions for future updates - Movie and show notes — space to jot down a personal comment about the show or movie - Episode notes a place to jot down a note about favorite episodes - Calendar and/or Reminder support so you could schedule an upcoming episode or movie from your watch list to the system calendar or an iOS reminder with a link back to the show or movie to quickly mark it as watched (via callback url) - Bookmark your favorite actors to easily find their newest work - A few custom app icons to choose from of various colors to match different home screens

The watchlist is useless since it cannot be edited or deleted. At least make it able to be hidden from the library. 3 stars until then, 5 if that happens.
