VOG-Altimeter is speaking altimeter device for skydiving. With this unit you no need to keep checking your visual alti or take time to adjust the audible one. It simply announces your altitude throughout the jump.

Designed by a skydivers specifically for skydivers, with simplicity & safety in mind and packed with technical features, it provides the skydiver with a compact, simple to use audible altimeter that slots neatly into most helmets.

Quick & simple to use. It even switches itself on in the aircraft & after you land it will switch itself off! Use your iPhone to change the spoken altitudes from automatic to personal settings. It can be set to either feet or meters and is available in a choice of languages.

Overall works as described but I wish it was louder. Maybe having some other voices or tones to choose from? Also it isn’t as reliable on my way up in the plane. Otherwise I think it’s perfect and the app is simple! Wireless charging so I can set it up for my drive or in-between jumps. Also very slick design

I drive an hour away to my DZ every weekend. And my DZ is 1,500ft above where my home is. Since the Vog turns on with motion, it turns on with the car ride to the DZ and therefore thinks I’m way higher in altitude when the plane is barely taking off yet. To fix this I have to take the wireless charger to the DZ with me and place it on the charger for about 30 seconds to reset the altitude. I emailed the creator almost a year ago asking them to add an option to the app to reset the altitude. However they have not. Also the app keeps resetting my “jump numbers” to a lower number. I reset it to the correct number, and it goes back down to a low number the next time I open the app.
