Cambodia Digital Key (CamDigiKey) is an advanced electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) solution and authentication system operated by the Cambodia Data Exchange (CamDX) platform. Through the CamDigiKey mobile application, users can create accounts for eKYC verification and seamlessly authenticate themselves to any Cambodian government portal or information system integrated with CamDigiKey by simply scanning a QR code.

CamDigiKey leverages AI technology for facial recognition and liveness detection, combined with OCR tools to extract information from Cambodian national identification cards and passports. For businesses, CamDigiKey offers integration benefits through OAuth 2.0 for web applications and Deeplink for mobile applications. The CamDX team has put out tons of marketing material for some reason making this sound like some amazing ground-breaking technology. But despite touting its "availability" and "reliability", I (and I'm assuming everyone else) cannot use it at the moment, because as soon as you enter a phone number you get "Error in Network Connection", and are unable to do anything else. There is a black hole "support" feature where you can send a message, but no way to receive a response. Giving 2 stars since the interface design seems decent and since the problem is probably with servers at the ministry and not the actual developers (but the user doesn't care why, just that it doesn't work, and this is a flawed architecture if the servers aren't dependable). Hoping to receive a response or update after it's fixed.
