User Reviews

Reviewers frequently praise Cardstock for helping organize collections and some cite favorable pricing and positive interactions with the team. However, core issues recur: confusing and failing billing/subscription charges (lifetime vs annual, unconsented charges), inaccurate card recognition and pricing, data loss or syncing bugs, and frustrating trial/purchase flows with limited support. Overall, the app has value for collectors but reliability and billing practices are major pain points for many users.
Pros
  • Helps organize and manage sports card collections.
  • Overall positive app experience (praise like "best app ever" / "great app").
  • Pricing is considered good by some users.
  • Positive personal interactions with the team at events.
Cons
  • Billing and subscription issues include unexpected charges and lifetime vs annual disputes.
  • Card identification and pricing are frequently inaccurate (wrong year/sets/parallel; prices vary).
  • Data loss/bugs: cards disappearing after reinstall, uploads failing, white screens.
  • Free trial/purchase flow pressures users to pay or auto-charges.
  • Support/refund responsiveness is lacking.

I signed up, didn’t even get to use it and now it wants me to sign up for a lifetime subscription. When you decline, it goes to a white screen with no option to do anything.

Downloaded the app, signed up for the subscription and started scanning. It worked well for about 3 days. Now it will scan but won’t upload market value or update cards in my collection. Even went to delete and reinstall and now it still won’t upload MV but all my cards are gone in my collection. Such a waste of time and money

Could not correctly identify any of my cards. Wrong year, wrong sets, wrong parallels, etc
