User Reviews

Legend of the Phoenix is praised for its immersive storytelling, rich content, striking visuals, and strong social features. However, many reviews cite heavy monetization and paywalls, frequent bugs and login/account issues, and unsatisfactory customer support. The game also presents a steep learning curve for newcomers and some account-management frustrations. Overall, it offers appealing depth and aesthetics for dedicated players, but reliability and perceived fairness (especially around monetization and support) are common sticking points.
Pros
  • Immersive, story-driven gameplay with engaging lore and romance/relationship elements.
  • Deep, multi-faceted gameplay with many activities, modes, and ways to progress, offering long-term engagement.
  • Stunning art and outfits with rich dress-up customization and fashion appeal.
  • Strong social features including confidants, guilds, and relationship mechanics that add depth and social play.
  • Ongoing content and events provide new things to do over time, keeping the game active for dedicated players.
Cons
  • Heavy monetization and pay-to-win dynamics; non-VIP progression can be slow and events can favor paying players.
  • Frequent technical stability issues, including crashes, login problems, and incidents of lost accounts with insufficient compensation.
  • Poor or inconsistent customer support with slow or ineffective responses.
  • Steep learning curve and limited beginner onboarding, making it hard for new players to understand how to progress.
  • Account management and progression problems, such as recovering old accounts or transferring leadership, leading to frustration for some players.

At first it was acceptable but now the amount of paywalled stuff is just absurd. You can’t get anything remotely nice without spending real money in any event. Items that used to be f2p friendly are now paywalled. Not only that, ingot to event point ratio is nearly 1:1 at this point, so f2p players can just forget about getting pretty outfits or furnitures or characters.

Now the paywalling is insane. To get almost anything you have to give a huge amount of real world money. It doesn’t feel like treating yourself anymore. The pressure to spend $30 or more on each simultaneous event is nuts. The home screen is covered in demands to buy for new events and tons of pressure to keep up with the high spending players. It’s not fun. I hit VIP 7 before the tidal wave of paywalling hit and I will not spend a single cent on this game again.
