User Reviews

Users praise the app for fast, versatile cataloging and useful value estimates, plus strong support and ease of organizing large collections. The main drawbacks are a 30-scan free limit and subscription gating, occasional price inaccuracy, inconsistent cover art scanning, and UX annoyances from prompts and minor UI quirks. Overall, it's a powerful tool with cost trade-offs for heavy collectors.
Pros
  • Fast, versatile scanning (barcode, catalog ID, and cover art) with accurate text search
  • Built-in value estimation helps quantify and price items
  • Clear, easy-to-navigate organization and visually appealing layout
  • Responsive, helpful developer support and ongoing updates
  • Extremely useful for large collections and long-term cataloging
Cons
  • Free tier limits to 30 scans; ongoing subscription required for extensive use
  • Price estimates are not always accurate or reliable
  • Album cover scanning can be hit-or-miss, especially with abstract art
  • Subscription prompts and some UI/UX glitches can interrupt workflow

First and foremost, I love this app, I have no problem paying for it. I’ve been able to catalog my 750-ish and growing albums. I love that I can create my own storage units, especially since I’ve got them in 3 different rooms in my house. The search function is pretty good, but it sometimes doesn’t find identifiers that I’m looking for, then when I go ahead and manually scan and try to find that version, it’s listed right there in the “Identifiers” section, but didn’t come up in the search. This doesn’t happen happen that often, but it’s annoying when there’s 200 versions of an album and it’s easier to just do the search instead of scan. Also, I don’t think my collection is close to being worth over $20k, but that brings me to my other issue. I wish that there was an option to add grading with estimated value for the grade. The picture on the website even shows a range of values, but the actual app does not. Adding this would be an awesome feature that would make this app complete.
