The game is designed to be un-winnable, no doubt to push the designer’s point of view. The problem is that it removes any fun from game play, and after several attempts becomes a passive sermon that nuclear war is bad (which we already knew). Waste of time.

This is a very good game based on true events. But why not allow for a second strike during radar suggesting that nuclear missiles were mid-air? Firing your entire arsenal just to find out it was a false alarm? That should be in the game.
