Genesys Cloud Communicate

I can open my phones browser, log into genesis and take calls, but if you open the app made by genesis, it can’t take inbound calls. It can take you out of the queue but there is no way to go back into the queue. I don’t need to call my colleagues, I need to be able to hear when a customer calls. Most companies use slack or teams so this communication app misses one of the main features genesis is used for, taking calls. Furthermore, when my pc has issues and I need a plane B to pickup the call, I have to open my phones browser because this app won’t do it. Bad implementation. Hey genesis, just implement the other half for crying out loud.

There are often times when you make a call and you cannot hear anything and then there are times when it works this app is very unstable. And they will not do anything about it, but tell you to go to your admin.

If you want a phone system that delivers calls 90% of the time, this is the system for you. Most calls go through just fine, but sometimes your phone never rings and a voice message pops up. Sometimes you end a call and the app stays locked on the call. Sometimes you call other people and it just rings and they never get notified. For us, missing 10% of our calls is not acceptable, but it may be the right system for you.
