Multiple reviews report that the Verona Bus app cannot be used by foreigners due to SMS verification failures for non-Italian numbers, blocking signup and ticket purchase. Tourists are left unable to verify and must buy tickets at the bus terminal kiosk. Some mention that foreign payment methods are rejected and Apple Pay isn’t supported. The app does offer an in-app bus schedule, but registration and payment flaws make it largely unusable for many users.

Recent reviews

Constant errors when trying to set up an account. Eventually got to the SMS authorization and it wouldn’t work with a +1 number. Just go to the bus terminal if you are at the train station and get a ticket at the kiosk.
