Features & Capabilities

Home Fighter is a casual toy-battle arcade game by hap Inc. where toys enter the arena and battle when you hold the toys in each hand to start the fight.

Gameplay focuses on charging by holding, releasing to attack, and using two attack types—normal and SP—depending on the attack gauge. If you counter your opponent's normal attack, you deal extra damage. You can evade by tapping, and movement is limited to up-and-down for timing and strategy.

User Reviews

Players praise Home Fighter for its creative combat and rewarding secrets, and note the game is generally enjoyable with few disruptive ads. However, its major drawbacks are a lack of content and uneven balance, with overpowered characters and unfair AI in some battles. The grind to unlock the game console is long and unrewarding, and the console’s high price plus unclear benefits compounds frustration. Localization is also an issue for some, and there are frequent calls for more characters, updates, and balance improvements.
Pros
  • Creative, unique fighting mechanics that feel engaging and fun.
  • Hidden secrets and discoveries add depth and a rewarding feel.
  • Gameplay is generally enjoyable with low ad intrusiveness for a free-to-play experience.
  • Good replay value; the game can entertain for long periods.
Cons
  • Not enough characters and balance issues, with some fighters consistently overpowered and AI often unfair.
  • Grinding for coins to obtain the game console is long, unrewarding, and rewards feel sparse.
  • The game console is expensive and its function is unclear, worsening the overall grind.
  • Content updates feel slow; players request more characters, modes, and balance tuning.

Great game, needs more characters or special abilities, very curious why in the toy store the console is 15,000 yet there’s nothing that explains what it does before you get it? A mode where people can play others who are playing online or something would be nice too or even tag team matches *UPDATE I worked very hard to get the game console from the toy store in the game, not worth doing all those battles saving the coins, all you get is a pat on the back for playing the game, there is no special bonus, character, or prize just ending credits, so just spend your currency on toys
