The Gruffalo Spotter 2

The Gruffalo Spotter 2 is a state-of-the-art augmented reality adventure that lets children meet 3D Gruffalo characters in the woods. As families explore Forestry England sites, the characters wave, stomp, fly, dance and roar beside them. The experience can be filmed or photographed and shared later with the hashtag #GruffaloSpotters.

The app is free to download, requires no in-app purchases, and is designed for iOS 11 and later on iPhone 6s and up, iPad Pro, and iPad 2017+. It guides you along a self-led trail with fun facts, then brings the characters to life on screen. At the end you can save memories to your gallery and even pick up a trail pack on site for extra activities.
