SimClimat is an educational climate simulator that combines a graphical interface with a simple climate model to help students and curious minds explore the climates of Earth and other planets. It presents results such as global surface temperature, sea level, ice sheets, and atmospheric composition as curves and visuals across multiple time scales.

Users can adjust parameters such as astronomical inputs, atmospheric composition, continental configurations, volcanism, and greenhouse gas emissions, and they can plug or unplug climatic feedbacks to quantify their impact. The tool supports testing greenhouse gas scenarios, studying past climate variations, and comparing planetary climates to illuminate the mechanisms behind warming.
