User Reviews

Overall, users praise this app as user-friendly and a comprehensive tool for learning the circle of fifths, with fingerings/voicings and audible chord examples that aid songwriting and understanding progressions. The main recurring downside is a non-responsive UI on small screens that cuts off parts of the circle. A few reports mention occasional audio or chord issues. Despite these, most reviews view Circle o Fifths as a valuable reference and a good value for studying music theory.

Like another review, there was no sound initially, but it started working after I tapped something or it need a little time connect the audio driver, but it started working. My request is to add PARTS (A,B,C,etc.) to the Progressions tab, with loop counters, so we can construct whole songs. Then it would be incredible as a songwriting tool and composition theory machine. General MIDI support would also be nice. The ability to select external MIDI devices for rhythm and tones would also be useful! I’m saving a star for those features. That all said, the price~performance ratio is superb. Buy it!
