WatchKey shows promise with a clean UI and a dedicated watch keyboard, but users repeatedly report major barriers: it doesn’t integrate with Messages (typing must occur in the WatchKey app), heavy paywalls and licensing problems, cross-device compatibility hassles, onboarding gaps, and reliability bugs that hinder practical use.
