I was forced to download this app for a music festival when the credit card readers went down. I paid $50 for drinks. The vendor insisted it didn’t go through on their end even though the amount was deducted from my balance. I had to pay again to be able to leave. I still have not received funds back.

This app is the absolute worst way I can think to pay at events. Every transaction requires multiple phone handoffs between the vendor and customers (3 QR code scans IF it worked on the first try which was rare). The lines were always so long because of this app. They charge a service fee to reload and the information on how to request a refund at the end of the event was unclear and they make so much money from the difficulty around that.

Scan three times to pay for one item. And good luck working out getting any money back if you have an outstanding balance. Middle man app to steal your money.
