Nursing Medical Terminology

One of the major components of quality nursing services is the ability of nurses to communicate effectively and efficiently among themselves, and with other health care professionals, their clients and the general public. Nursing students should equip themselves with good knowledge of medical terminologies and abbreviations, both written and spoken, as this will help them in studying nursing therapeutic courses; and it will also prepare them better for clinical placement, and for functioning competently as qualified nurses.
