User Reviews

I bought the RepOne over three years ago after trying a wireless VBT sensor, and I’ve consistently appreciated the accuracy and reliability of the RepOne hardware. I trust the data and love how consistent it’s been across sessions. However, the app still needs serious improvements. One of the biggest reasons I chose RepOne was the promise of real-time velocity feedback—especially alerts when my speed drops below a target range. This was advertised as part of an upcoming app update at the time of purchase, but years later, it still hasn’t arrived. That missing feature really limits the training value of the system. I still hold out hope, but unless the app sees meaningful updates soon, I’ll likely switch to a different solution once I finish rehabbing my shoulder.

400 dollars to get in with the tracker and they haven’t updated the app in 3 months at the time of this review. Not to mention, the promised athlete app has not been worked on either. The promised 2024 release looks like an empty promise. Look the Sheiko gold vbt at this time. Continuous updates from a passionate developer. Not to mention cheaper starting point.

There’s been a persistent bug in iOS where the top of the app is overshadowed/partially obscured by the main iOS interface, making it difficult to navigate in the app (which also uses small buttons in that same obscured area). The app also bugs out quite frequently and doesn’t automatically start new sets after waiting the prescribed rest time, so you end up with one set of 30 reps, which makes the data collected not very useful. Needing to babysit the app from set to set is annoying and you’d think it’d be able to handle that feature by now.
