CleanBrowsing DNS is a DNS-based content filtering service that helps families browse the web safely by intercepting domain requests and filtering sites according to your rules. The free Family filter blocks adult content while still allowing popular sites like Google, YouTube, Bing, and DuckDuckGo to load safely.

In addition to three predefined global filters (Security, Adult, Family), you can choose from 14 predefined custom filters or create your own rules to block or allow any domains. Custom blocks can be created on the Pro plans, and all plans include network visibility to see which sites are visited on your network.

I love this app. It’s honestly been great. It’s been really helpful. Honestly my one complaint (a pretty minor one too) is that sometimes the VPN disconnects for apparently no reason, and I have to wait for probably about 30 seconds for it to reconnect before I can use the wifi again. This does happen fairly often too, I’d say about 3-4 times a day. Other than that, this app is great!
