Charty for Shortcuts

I've spent a lot of time with Charty. Early on, I dove in head-first and created a bunch of charts. Day 1 went pretty well. But then things got rocky. I tried updating them with shortcuts, and displaying them in widgets. I started getting duplicate charts, and empty charts. Sync bugs were everywhere. Widgets would mysteriously go blank. I know the author has put a lot of time into Charty, and I want it to be great. If you just need to make the occasional one-off chart, and you're going to do it interactively inside the app, I think it's fine. For heavy use, or anything involving automation or widgets, though, I cannot recommend it.

I like where this app has gone, but I was hoping for much more in the future but there seems to not have been an update for three years now. I would love to see the app, expand into three dimensional plots also intensity plots, who are heat plots which are XY type maps with an exterior variable Z acting as the intensity of the information or color in the chart case. If the developer is still out there and is reading this, please consider continuing your efforts.

I loe being able to create widgets to see things like my steps on my phone home screen or lock screen. This does this. You can create charts and things for so many things you may need. An app I never thought of is now here!
