User Reviews

Users praise FaithFi for its clean design, envelope budgeting, flexibility, helpful resources, and affordable pricing. Common positives include ease of use and quick support. Recurrent drawbacks involve unstable bank feeds and imports, post-update UI/performance regressions, transparency concerns about funds, billing surprises, and challenging transaction entry and reconciliation. Overall, the app is valued but reliability and UX issues remain.
Pros
  • Beautiful design with an intuitive, organized UI.
  • Effective envelope budgeting system with flexible setup options.
  • Automatic bank transaction imports and syncing across accounts (Plaid support).
  • Helpful coaching articles and podcasts for financial stewardship.
  • Affordable pricing and strong value for money.
Cons
  • Unreliable bank feeds—some accounts don’t update or import properly.
  • UI regressions and slower performance after updates; clunky and unresponsive.
  • Transparency concerns regarding money handling and unaccounted funds.
  • Billing issues and pricing surprises (charges for linking accounts; ongoing subscription costs).
  • Cumbersome transaction management (splitting/reconciling, uncategorized/duplicated transactions) with occasional crashes.

I love the faith centered budgeting and digital envelop system. The app needs a lot of work. Articles have text cut off and the daily check ins have a bunch of black screens and videos that won’t load. I tried contacting support but “an error occurred”. I have the pro trial and don’t know if it’s worth paying for if these crucial things don’t work.

I love FaithFi because it does everything I’m looking for and the cost is so reasonable! I love the recent update and the daily check-ins. So grateful for this app!

A while back my favorite money management app we had used for over 15 years was discontinued. I searched and couldn’t find anything comparable until I saw an online thread someone talking about FaithFi. I was skeptical that a faith based app would have the functionality I needed for an envelope-concept budget management system. FaithFi proved me SO wrong. It has surpassed my expectations, and any functionalities previously missing have been installed. It may not be compatible with some financial institutions, and I had one credit card with Synchrony that only updated once a month on the app, but synchrony got their act together eventually and I couldn’t be happier. There are coaching articles and short podcasts to encourage people wanting to steward their money better. It is the best money management app out there and the pricing is beyond reasonable! Thanks FaithFi, keep up the good work!
