We should be able to delete notifications after we have read them. It takes up unnecessary space and with us needing anonymity who’s to say that our alcoholics/addicts do not gain access to our phones and then it starts a fight? I can hear some smart guy say, “Well don’t give them access!” Well you try and do that when you’re married to them! I’m telling you that if I can’t cover my tracks then I won’t be using this app.

I want to recommend this app. The meetings are lifesavers. But the lack of moderation in the social aspect/news feed allows for rude, unchecked people to comment on posts from others with no risk of being moderated. On top of this, because the block function only works for messages and the blocked user’s posts, the people I blocked still show up on posts and comments. MarkM is inflammatory and rude to others every single day, violating ToS multiple times, yet I can’t even block him and avoid his nonsense cause I can still see his comments on other’s posts. For a recovery community like Al-Anon, full of people needing help and wanting a community we can actually speak to, this is insanely detrimental to us who want a space we be supportive of each other in. Because I don’t want to use this app I’ve been way less active in the overall program as I used to love contributing, but since the WSO seem uninterested in moderation after even being emailed, I’ll stick to my local group and hopefully find online zoom groups I can make friends in.

No matter what I do I get error messages when I try to sign up. I’m meeting all the password requirements, but nothing works. I’m disappointed because I was trying to attend my first meeting.
