I shouldn’t have to grab my phone to use the app.

All is decent. There is definitely a proximity issue. Ironic considering the app has “Prox” in its name. Too far away and it fails. Also it really makes sense to include Apple Watch. I’m coming home, and want to have something built in. My watch is on my wrist ready to go long before my phone is out of my pocket or bag. Food for thought.
