User Reviews

I’ve tried several reading trackers over the years, and Book Tracker has become the center of my entire reading workflow. What makes this app stand out is not only the library management and statistics, but its incredible integration with Apple’s ecosystem and Shortcuts automation. I use Book Tracker to manage both books and comics, while reading through Apple Books and Panels. Thanks to the app’s extensive Shortcuts support, I’ve built a complete reading system: 📚Start reading sessions with a single tap with a menu(book or comic)
📖Automatically launch my reading app (Apple Books or Panels)
⏯️Start, pause, resume and stop reading timers
⌚️Track reading time accurately
🗓️Open the currently reading book when ending a session
🏆Verify reading progress before closing a session. The Shortcuts integration is honestly one of the best I’ve seen in any reading app. The app exposes a huge number of actions, allowing advanced users to create highly customized workflows without requiring external services or subscriptions. I also appreciate that the developer chose a one-time purchase model instead of a recurring subscription. Pro unlocks powerful features such as unlimited books, reading statistics, timers, iCloud synchronization, and Shortcuts integration, widgets, import/export capabilities, and much more. The reading timer is especially well designed. Combined with Live Activities, widgets and automation, it makes tracking reading sessions effortless. If I could ask for one improvement, it would be deeper integration with Apple Books, allowing a selected book in Book Tracker to open directly to the matching title inside Apple Books. Everything else has exceeded my expectations. For readers who care about statistics, habits, automation, and maintaining a well-organized reading life, Book Tracker is one of the best purchases I’ve made on the App Store. Rating: 5/5

This is working good thus far. My only critique is I cannot add a volume option. I only have series. I need volumes. And I need this to autogenerate multiple volumes when I scan a bar code for an entire set.
