User Reviews

Users repeatedly report that the Galaxy Buds iOS app is unreliable or unusable: it often fails to detect or connect to the buds on iPhone, crashes or only shows a pairing screen, and does not support newer models. Support channels are seen as ineffective. Many features remain inaccessible through the app, pushing users toward Android or abandoning certain controls. While the earbuds’ core hardware may work, app-based management is frequently broken and not maintained.
Pros
  • Earbuds sometimes pair with a phone even when the iOS app can't connect.
  • Some users report that the Android version of the app works without the issues seen on iPhone.
  • When the app is functional, it provides access to manage buds' settings.
Cons
  • Cannot connect to the app on iPhone; the app doesn't detect or recognize Galaxy Buds.
  • App crashes or closes on launch and ends up stuck on the pairing screen.
  • Limited or no support for newer Galaxy Buds / outdated for newer models.
  • FAQ/chat support is unhelpful and sometimes misdiagnoses issues as hardware repair.
  • Cannot access or modify key settings (e.g., touch controls, noise cancellation) via the app; controls are inaccessible for newer generations.

Won’t even recognize the device. At least my phone pairs with them via Bluetooth. That’s about it, though. Oh well.

I had to connect again after it connected. Once you connect it through the app, you have to go back to bluetooth and then connect though other. It will show again that there is another live option to connect to. Then you will hear the beep sound to confirm that its connected. So their are two separate Bluetooth’s to connect to.
