Features & Capabilities

iPracticePro is a mobile app for iPhone and iPad that helps musicians practice intonation, ear training, chords and chord progressions across instruments. It starts with drones: continuous chromatic tones you can tune from 432Hz to 444Hz in multiple sounds, ideal for interval, chord and scale work. You can also trigger notes randomly within adjustable timeframes. The app supports quarter tones in expert mode and offers a variety of instrument timbres, including organ, piano, strings, guitar, wind and more.

Chords, progressions and pads form the core practice sections. The chords module includes dozens of shapes in standard and expert modes, with a flexible metronome (30–300 BPM), time signatures, and options to hear notes and read chord and scale info. Progressions cover 50+ common cycles across all keys, with randomization and a vast sounding palette. The pad feature lets you craft your own intervals and voicings. Extras include stealth mode, a practice timer, landscape view, light/dark themes, and expert mode for advanced users. Also available are sax fingering charts and reed adjustments for reed instruments.

This is a great app for practicing chords and progressions, scales almost eveything but rhythm, the ability to turn on or off on every mode like drone, chords and progressions, a random tempo oscillation with tweakable parameters, like bpm range of oscillation, speed of tempo change range, simple tempo parameters, that would be excellent to test and practice the ability to follow tempo by ear, to help with pushing pulling tempo skills, I have never understood why any metronome app in the apstore has that, but imagine integrated into an allready amazing practicing app like this, really think about it
