I use this app regularly but it has unfortunately broken in iOS 26. I only take photos with your camera in the FoodView app and don’t let it access to my pre-existing photo album outside the app. However, now when I take a photo, it pops up the photo album selector, which doesn’t show the picture just took in app, then hangs. When I close the photo library picked popup since the pic I just took w my camera isn’t there, it just returns me to the Home Screen for the app. It’s not usable anymore. I wanted to report this as a developer issue but the link to dev support in the App Store is also broken.

Love that it's free and there is no AI. Sometimes the app can be a little confusing to navigate, however it's overall very good.

I am delighted to discover the capability of my device to capture photographs of my meals and subsequently track their consumption based on the time of day they are eaten. This feature is poised to significantly aid my weight loss endeavors.
