I like it! Wish the unit had a cordless probe but this is a great tool for a “smoker”!! Love the time temp graph as this can be used AFTER THE COOK to monitor rest time/temp too! Hopefully it lasts a long time. Great buy!

For the longest time I’ve stuck to the traditional way of smoking pork butt. This included a check every hour for internal temp. Never had a bad result from this method. My wife bought me the dual probe temp monitor with Bluetooth as a birthday gift. Being able to keep the smoker closed and monitor with accuracy changed it all for me. Stronger and more robust bark and way more tender in less time. I also used the second probe as a “smoker” temp gauge and found my electric smoker was running about 20F below what it said. Now I know for sure I’m at the right temp through the smoke and stall. GAME CHANGER!! My advice…..get the dual probe unit. Don’t buy a single probe. Just spend a bit more.
