TRIESTEMETRO is the official app of the Municipality of Trieste: lots of routes just like a metro but ones that you follow on foot.

The app lets you consult 260 points of interest divided into 7 routes and 60 in-depth itineraries (outings), can be used in 4 languages and integrates a QRcode reader and augmented reality functions. Using the QRcode reader, the app interacts with the information totems spread around the city centre and with the paper guides available at the information points. The augmented reality functions allow you to get to - and get to know - the points of interest nearby in a simple and intuitive way. A section dedicated to health and a step-counting system let you discover the beneficial effect of walking on our bodies.
