User Reviews

Users generally praise Videwatch for enabling video playback on Apple Watch, organizing media with folders, and convenient watch-Phone preview, along with good value. The main drawbacks are slow Bluetooth transfers, occasional crashes or instability, and missing features such as time overlays, background playback, and scrubbing/start-from-beginning capabilities. Some reports mention devices not detecting the watch or incomplete video format support. Overall it's viewed as a solid option among wearables video players, but reliability and feature gaps remain common requests.
Pros
  • Video playback on Apple Watch (including full-screen support)
  • Folder support for organizing media on the watch
  • Preview/watch control from iPhone for easier interaction
  • Good value for money; well-designed and easy to use
  • Supports external sources like Dropbox and URL streaming
Cons
  • Slow transfers to the watch over Bluetooth
  • Reliability issues: crashes and occasional unresponsiveness
  • Feature gaps: time display/overlay, background playback, and ability to start from the beginning

Perfect!

Not bad, but I can’t scrub through the video. I also wish I could stream from my phone to the watch instead of having to save it to the watch, since storage is limited. Still, it does play video, so I’m thankful.
