User Reviews

Read Your Body is repeatedly praised for privacy, customization, and strong device integration (notably Tempdrop), plus robust data handling and value for money. Common drawbacks include pricing/friction, missing predictive features, and performance/UI quirks. Overall, it’s viewed as a private, flexible fertility-tracking toolkit that many users find worth subscribing to, with room for improvement in predictive functionality and performance.
Pros
  • High customization across fertility methods with the ability to mix and match methods, making it adaptable to different charting approaches.
  • Strong data privacy and an inclusive approach, with private-by-default design and language that supports gender diversity.
  • Excellent device integration, especially seamless syncing with Tempdrop for daily data.
  • Robust data handling: easy imports from other apps, reliable backups, and the ability to export only selected metrics.
  • Good value for money with a worthwhile subscription and generally responsive support.
Cons
  • Pricing and payment friction: some users report free-trial/payment issues, while others feel the subscription is pricey but worth it.
  • Missing predictive features for future periods or ovulation, with users alternately hoping for and preferring not to have predictions.
  • Performance slowdowns and long chart load times as data accumulates, plus occasional UI glitches that require refreshing.
  • Occasional usability quirks and small annoyances, such as buttons not responding or unexpected app behavior.

Data privacy with robust features. What’s not to love! Worth the cost to use and support something so valuable.

Been so helpful in tracking my fertility. I use the Marquette method. One thing I would love is if my husband could see my data on his device so he could be in the know. Right now I’m doing this as well as paper charting so he can see it but would be nice to have all on one app.
