User Reviews

Reviewers consistently complain about account access problems and weak support after migrating from the legacy Tool Connect app, along with a hard cap of 30 tools and pricey upgrades. Other recurring frustrations include reliability and UX issues (broken links, login loops, missing features, and slow navigation). The overall sentiment is negative due to setup friction, access hurdles, and scalability limits.
Pros
Cons
  • Account access and password reset issues with slow or unresponsive support, including difficulties creating new accounts after migration.
  • Restrictive tool inventory limit of 30 items per tier and high upgrade pricing (e.g., up to 750 tools for $2,500/yr), making it impractical for users with larger tool collections.
  • Migration from the legacy Tool Connect app causing loss of familiar features and increased friction, along with reliability concerns after the switch.
  • General reliability and usability problems reported across reviews, including bugs, broken links, login loops, and inconsistent behavior.

This app is horrible. Won’t let me log in, just keeps taking me back to the login page. Bring back the old app and fire the guy that set this one up.

Somehow Dewalt went from something that was slightly broken but useable to another App that is even more cantankerous than the first. Links are broken everywhere, after contacting support I went from the 7 circle of hell to maybe the 4th and It runs in circles when agreeing to the TOS. The link and app was doing the same shenanigans when telling me I need to reset my password.
