User Reviews

Bello is easy to use, portable, and motivates tracking with diet guidance and quick measurements, including visceral fat data pulled from Health. However, repeated crashes, login issues, limited Health integration (read-only), weak data visualization, and cumbersome calorie tracking undermine reliability. Improvements to stability, sign-in flows, and deeper Health/app integration would significantly improve the user experience.

Pros

Easy to use with a user-friendly interface and quick setup.
Compact, portable device with fast pairing and measurements shown in seconds.
Diet and activity recommendations are simple, motivating, and help with tracking progress.
Can read data from Apple Health to pull metrics.
Useful for tracking visceral fat and overall progress over time.

Cons

Frequent crashes and instability, with the app closing unexpectedly.
Apple Health integration is limited to reading; it does not write or reliably sync fat data back to Health.
Login/registration issues and login errors after updates (e.g., sign-in with Apple/Google failing).
Poor data visualization and trend tracking; delayed readings and the main view resetting often.
Cumbersome calorie/diet tracking and a lack of integration with other health apps; manual data entry is required.

Recent reviews

The app works at minimum and shows the values from the scan. It’s kind of error prune, same subsequent scans might be off from each other. My biggest issue is, the app happily reads the data from apple health, but it doesn’t support writing the scans back to apple health. It’s obvious that this is a conscious decision by the company.

App is constantly crashing - once I open the app it crashed before I’m able to measure my stats, I have uninstalled the app and installed again and it fid the same thing - after couple of uninstalls I was able to use the app but after 2-3 weeks it started again and now it is closing/crashing automatically every time

Update: Issues resolved promptly. Thanks to support for very timely resolution! ————————— In the last two days the app is suddenly closing before you can do anything. Seems to be a new app issue as I had used daily for the past many months. Tried to log this problem through support, but the bot would not let me get through the required info which I needed the app to access. Thank you for looking into this.
