ASA's Catamaran Challenge

ASA's Catamaran Challenge is an educational Chrome extension that teaches the unique handling of twin-engine catamarans. It covers the basics of operating two engines, understanding how wide spacing of props enables tight turns, and the differences from monohull helm control.

There are five learning modules that teach basic twin-engine catamaran operations, including standing turns, looping turns, and slow-speed maneuvering using throttles. It also includes challenge modules—practice picking up a mooring buoy and docking in a marina—so you can apply skills in realistic scenarios. Designed for sailors and maritime enthusiasts, this tool provides hands-on, risk-free practice to build confidence on the water.
