Obedience: BDSM Habit Tracker

BDSM app for kinky couples

Features & Capabilities

Obedience is a BDSM habit tracker designed for Doms and subs to manage daily and weekly tasks, rewards, and punishments. The app enables real-time status updates, coin-based rewards, and a shared chat to strengthen consent and communication between partners.

It supports multiple partners, lets you add custom habits and punishments, track rules, view stats and graphs, and set reminders. User Reviews

Obedience shows strong potential as a BDSM habit tracker, with many reviewers praising its ability to foster closeness and accountability and to facilitate communication. However, reliability issues (bugs in points/tasks), a subscription-heavy pricing model (often needing two premium accounts), and inconsistent support repeatedly hinder satisfaction. Overall, it’s a promising concept that works better for some users than others due to reliability and monetization frustrations.
Pros
  • Aids closeness and accountability in D/s relationships, including long-distance dynamics.
  • Useful as a communication and habit-tracking tool for partners to align expectations and progress.
  • Appealing concept and user-friendly design that users find enjoyable and usable.
Cons
  • Frequent bugs and glitches in the task/points system (miscounts, negative points, daily resets, tasks marked completed incorrectly).
  • Payment model is heavily monetized (subscription-based) and often requires two premium accounts for both partners; high annual cost and concerns about refunds.
  • Support issues and account problems (ignored tickets, refunds denied, accounts deleted) appear in multiple reviews.
  • Constant upgrade prompts that appear every time the app is opened, disrupting the user experience.

could use "save photo" functionality if you're going thru all the trouble of having an an archive. also, 5 tasks between 2 people is not a lot at all :') i feel like you should be able to get more out of the app without dropping thirty bucks

I don’t buy subscriptionware in which we are called upon to pay over and over again for something we used to pay for once—often amounting to hundreds of dollars over time. No, I prefer to pay once, as it should be. There needs to be a “pay once” option, even if the developers (and more importantly, their greedy investors) would rather resist this idea. Later… But, my partner really, really wanted me to buy in. So I have. I’d like to give 5 stars, but I can’t. Too many bugs and missing features. For example, there are tasks I’ve set up properly that my partner for some reason cannot check off. Also: cycling daily and weekly tasks have to be assigned a particular time or a particular day, when setting them up. (At least the app is working that way for me.) But for some daily tasks I simply want an “any time in the day” option. Still later… The app is more unfinished than finished. There are many ways it could not work for us. For some reason my sub could not successfully check off completed tasks. Thinking it was user error, I searched for effective troubleshooting documentation but found nothing useful. Particularly irksome was that I was forced to tie daily tasks to specific times of the day, instead of being able to simply set up a checklist of daily tasks that don’t need a time associated with their daily accomplishment as long as they are done within the day. I’ve since cancelled my annual subscription with less than a month of use, even at the loss of $30. The app does not work for us.
