User Reviews
Pros
- Addictive, engaging gameplay that can keep players immersed for long sessions.
- Story elements and characters (Maddie and Grandma) add charm and motivation.
- Relaxing, mind-relaxing gameplay that many players enjoy.
- Free-to-play friendly: substantial progression without mandatory real-money spending.
Cons
- Auto-merge is intrusive and cannot be reliably turned off, leading to unwanted merges.
- UI/UX overhaul makes the interface cluttered and harder to navigate; essential controls are moved or harder to reach.
- Event progression is slow and multi-layered with little variety, reducing gameplay excitement.
- Monetization pressure: frequent pop-ups and diamond purchases; piggy-bank mechanics feel exploitative.
- Support responsiveness is inconsistent or slow, leaving players without timely help.

As someone who has played this game for over 2 years now, my advice is: TURN BACK! The developers have cut almost every single helpful tool in the game. Daily challenges? Impossible to complete at later stages because you have to complete tasks. A single task in the Perfumery (where I am currently at) takes OVER A DAY to complete. And mind you, there are literal HUNDREDS of tasks in a single area, save the very beginning to bait you into playing. Side quests and events? Don’t bother. They usually just hand out a handful of exp and coins (which are WORTHLESS), with occasional decoration sets that are impossible to complete without paying. Photo sets? Again, impossible. They set the odds of the “winning” photo of the set to practically zero. You literally have a better chance of being struck by lightning than collecting them all. And the paid packs? Don’t even get me started. They used to cost 6.99. That was still pricey, but you could easily clear to level 50 where 2 Boulton cards were, as well as 8 hour skips, 20 minute infinite energy, and a handful of gems and other things. You also had 30 days to get all the good stuff before it reset. Now? They are 12.99 at TWO paid tiers, 5 minute infinite energy, 2-4 hour time skips, and even playing DAILY you will barely be able to crack level 40, locking you out of the Boulton cards, which are the ONLY reason to buy the packs. And they now reset after only 20 days. Now I’ll only buy the packs if I’m desperate for gems. It’s cheaper than buying them directly. For now, at least. Only bought one in the last 6 months.
Levels get harder to complete the further you go as the items you have to merge more and more frequently are max level. Everything past the Museum is nothing but a slog, taking MONTHS to complete a single area. Sometimes you’ll go days without completing a single task. The wretched level 12 weaves are the worst. They will take you over a week just to make a single one. I see moths in my nightmares now. The first bedroom in the game takes four of them to complete the area plus LITERALLY 200 more tasks. You do the math there. While I admit, the game can technically be beaten without spending a dime, it would take literal DECADES of your life to do so. Just take my advice: enjoy the first few areas of the game, and after you hit the pool area, uninstall the game. Do not give these developers your valuable time and money, as they have proven time and again they will cut EVERY CORNER POSSIBLE to squeeze another dime out of you. Once I complete the final wing in the main mansion, I’m done. I think I have about 6 or so areas to go. Out of around 50. The game goes on after that. They added a factory and they’ll probably use the boat in the garden for another area in the future. I signed up to renovate a mansion. That’s what I’m going to do, and then I’m getting out.
Oh, and by the way, you don’t start the game fixing up the mansion. You’ll have to play for about a YEAR before you even step foot inside. And the story is so bland and slow that by the time something actually relevant happened I stopped paying attention.
At least they haven’t implemented a gacha system. Yet. I wouldn’t put it past them, though. The moment they do I’m out, finished mansion or not. Better than most phone slop in that department at least.
Developers, if you’re reading this, FIX THE DAILY CHALLENGES SO THEY ARE POSSIBLE AT LATER STAGES. Just make them exp based like they were before, I don’t care. They were my only reliable source of energy and now it is impossible to find another souce. I’d tell you to fix the paid packages so they’re actually WORTH something again, but you won’t. You have caused so much DAMAGE to this game with the cutbacks in rewards over the last year alone that I genuinely don’t know if it’s salvageable. One last thing, and I cannot stress this one enough: It’s okay to stop making areas. You can END the story. It’s okay. We genuinely WANT an end to the game. Just make event updates after that and let the residuals roll in. Fix what you have instead of breaking it more with new things.

This game is just for developer to make money. Video of the fun part doesn't happen. All you do is a bunch of chores costing a fortune and I refuse to pay a single thing to enjoy games. I'm very disappointed.
