User Reviews

Users generally praise the app for being easy to use, finding chargers quickly, and tracking charging history. However, multiple reviews point to serious reliability problems (stations offline, payments faltering) and billing frustrations (double charges, $50 holds, slow refunds). Pricing concerns (activation fees and parking-like charges) and weak customer support are repeatedly cited. Overall, the app shows potential for convenience, but pervasive reliability and billing/support issues dominate the user experience.
Pros
  • Easy to use and intuitive app; quickly find nearby chargers.
  • Reliable when it works; sessions start smoothly and payments process cleanly.
  • Clear charging history and pricing transparency.
Cons
  • Frequent offline stations and failures to start charging; reliability is a major issue across many reviews.
  • Billing problems: duplicate charges, $50 holds, and refunds that are slow or missing.
  • High/opaque fees and price increases (activation fees, holds, parking-related charges) with perceived lack of pricing transparency.
  • Poor customer support and slow follow-up on issues.

Glitches all the time. Have hard time reloading card and just paying for it using a card. It drafted $50 three times trying three seperate times to charge $8 worth glitching each time but later going through only to have $150 drafted from my account for an $8 charge

I hate this app so much I’m writing this twice cuz the first one didn’t get submitted Just complete predatory garbage 1. They tripled the prices overnight. Like what did electricity suddenly triple in price? It now costs the same to supercharge my car and I still have to use this trash network because it’s the only one in the building 2. $50 authorization charge. Are you kidding? Every other app charges at most $1 just to check the card is working like look at DoorDash and Uber. You charge at most $30 why the heck you need a $50 authorization charge that then takes days to reverse? You need that extra float? Why do you need days to reverse the charge when it takes minutes to charge? 3. If you then opt to not use a card and instead charge their card with money none of that is then refundable. Incredibly predatory practices 4. They charged me twice $50 in authorization charges that were never reversed. Their support team claims they did but not according to my credit card company. I just had to eat the charges 5. App is buggy as heck. Payment methods don’t work. Apple Pay doesn’t work 6. UI/UX is atrocious. Like let’s say you want to see the status of charging or stop the charge you have to go to the charging station and do the QR instead of being able to do or see that from the app. What? Like really? 7. Error messages are atrocious. If something wrong happens it just doesn’t work and there’s no indication of why. You have to call customer service who then check for you Like if you’re going to be a money grub then at least pay your QA and development teams better. What are you doing with all that cash flow?
