MobiMatter: eSIM Marketplace

I purchased an eSIM to use for a trip to Europe. I have purchased others previously from other providers and never had a problem. The eSIM from MobiMatter was easy to install and initially connected to one of the providers and seemed to work. The frustrating part is that data seemed to only work for periods of 5-10 minutes at a time. After that, I would have to go into the network settings and switch to a different provider that worked with the eSIM to get data to function again. This caused problems like ending FaceTime audio calls unexpectedly, map directions failing to reroute you when you miss a turn, or my phone simply not loading a webpage as I’m trying to search for something. I submitted a ticket to MobiMatter for this issue and followed all of their recommendations but nothing fixed the issue. Ultimately they said “we can see you’ve consumed data so it must be working” which is less than helpful. I’d suggest everyone should go with one of the more well know companies like Holafly or Airalo and get an eSIM that works without any extra thought or hassle.

Unfortunately I purchased one eSIM I accidentally deleted and couldn’t use it anymore. I went back to the app and purchased what I thought it was another SIM card but it just got added to the previous one. I paid more than $40 and couldn’t use it . I need my money back or the eSIM to work with a different QR code you can see in the system that the packages haven’t been used

I bought a plan for Europe and it barely works in any of the places I’ve visited and I’ve been to small towns and major cities. The e-sim is rubbish.
