User Reviews

User reviews praise the app for its rich tones and practice usefulness, but repeatedly flag reliability and usability problems. The main pain points are unstable performance, Bluetooth connectivity and device compatibility issues, a clunky UI with missing features (metronome, landscape mode), and a sense that the app isn’t keeping up with OS updates. Overall, the app adds value to WAZA AIR, but reliability and ongoing support are the dominant themes.
Pros
  • Excellent tones and extensive sound/effects customization via the app.
  • Great for guitar practice; wireless design improves mobility and creativity.
  • Built-in tuner in the app.
  • Bluetooth music app integration and easy playback with services like Spotify.
Cons
  • App is buggy and unreliable, with crashes and communication errors across devices.
  • Bluetooth pairing/connectivity issues and inconsistent compatibility with various iOS devices (e.g., iPhone models, iPad).
  • Clunky UI/UX; hard-to-toggle effects, non-intuitive controls, and missing essential features like metronome and landscape mode on iPad.
  • Perceived lack of ongoing support and OS updates; compatibility problems with newer iOS versions suggest the app feels abandoned.
  • Limited tones/effects and calls for more features (e.g., more patches, potential recording).
Recent reviews
Title says it all. The product is/was good…when it was the only one on the market. But, newer products are better and cheaper. Additionally, the software that runs the product is awful. It’s buggy, and unreliable. The firmware is impossible to update. This is one of the most frustrating products I’ve ever owned.

Have tried everything possible including everything contained in the manuals. Works on my IPhone and newer IPad Air, but not so much on 9th gen.

Can’t even connect this to my iPhone 15. App feels abandoned and without it the product is half complete at best.
